Dyson bladeless fan: The science and the art

Pardon the pun but I’m a fan of James Dyson. I admire his understated influence, his ambition to radically rethink solutions ….. and his marketing.  You will be hearing a lot about his new fan, if you have not already.  I just love this 1 minute 22 second teaser advert . Then just watch the first 3 minutes or so of  his understated explanation. His is a true influential leadership that many celebrity entrepreneurs, chefs and other assorted high profile Talking Heads could learn from.

I’m curious to know what this experience makes you think about? What can you do differently in your business?

I know what you mean Ruth. I’m not a fan fan but find myself blown away by the creative genius of the technology, the uber cool marketing and the understated brilliance of the man. I guess that makes me a Dyson fan!

    Dear Richard,

Sorry I did not get back to you straight away, really enjoyed meeting you last Friday and found our discussions very interesting and stimulating. Sorry, attention span for advertisements and explanations about fans extremely poor!

    See you again soon.

Hi Richard, it’s been a while. I love this guy. Real out of the box thinking. Who else would build a desk fan without fan blades? What else is possible. Also agree with you that his use of internet video for the first adverts is very cool

Are you running a PC or a laptop, Craig. If a laptop you probably do have inbuilt speaker(s). If a PC then probably not, unless it is relatively new. Call me if you want help here.

Sorry Richard but I don’t have speakers and I can’t lip read either so all a bit lost on me.
