New Linkedin Profile build October 2012

Hi all, you will soon see that Linkedin is rolling out the new Profile building option on a phased, invited basis. In answer to a few questions from a few friends and clients, Yes, key elements of my  current Linkedin Professional Polishing guide are still relevant if you act on them now.

I see this as even more reason to get key elements of your Profile updated and ready for the full roll-out of the new profile page that you will be using some time soon. Do yourself a favour and check out what you need to edit now, in a format that is familiar to you, so that when the new profile editing opportunity hits your home screen, you will be ready to make the most of the opportunity with minimal pain.

Hi Ben, thanks for your feedback. I’m sure that Linkedin will be making even more changes to the way people use the service, so we will need to keep on top of things to ensure that our profiles are the best they can be. I will be keeping an eye out and will be sharing insights and approaches as and when.

I used your LinkedIn Profile Polisher as my guide when setting up my profile. It is excellent. It enabled me to customise the appearance of my page and maximise the impact of the information which I feel is most important. When viewing other profiles it is now easy to see those which would benefit from your pearls of polishing wisdom!
    Very helpful indeed. Thanks.
