Back in November I hinted at the release of Microsoft Teams and asked ‘Will Microsoft Teams kill Slack?’  Well, Microsoft has now rolled out Teams to all Office 365 users and I’m asking if Teams will also kill internal email?

Microsoft announced the roll out via a global webcast and on their office blog yesterday.

Within my personal and team productivity practice I am finding that more businesses who are using Office365 are hungry for proven approaches to managing their critical results, their high volume – high velocity workloads as well as their high volume communications and information loads more effectively using all the Office365 tools better in an integrated way.

This is an exciting and busy time and my Welding Purpose to Priorities #wp2p training and support services are reflecting this ambition.

As the Office365 suite becomes even more comprehensive, powerful, compelling and exciting we must remember that, when it comes to delivering results in the real world, it pays to keep things as simple as possible and not be seduced by technology.

It has always been about, and will remain to be about:

Defining Purpose > Deciding Strategy > Defending Priorities > Delivering Results and using the fewest tools possible to support the best behaviours possible to deliver the best results possible. That is what I remain committed to supporting for my clients.

Get in touch on any aspect of this if you wish.
